Antique Oak Desk

This is an antique government issue desk from the forest service. I decided not to paint it and instead have cleaned it up, given it new knobs and two coats of paste wax. I left the marks on the top because I love the history of this piece and feel it gives it that great broken in look. The left side and center has drawers with built in dividers. The right side holds a compartment with sliding pop up tray which I believe housed a typewriter. It would make a great spot for a printer, pc tower, or filing system. Our you could use it as an additional work surface. There is also a slide out tray on the left side.
