Natalie's Chair

I've been looking for a cute little kid's chair to put at my coffee table for my three-year-old daughter to sit on when she's doing her jigsaw puzzles and coloring. I found this cute little chair at a consignment shop and spruced it up.  I sanded, primed with black spray primer, painted with an aubergine that she picked out and also brings out the purple in my curtains.  The edges of the seat and back had some veneer that had peeled off and the surface looked really uneven even after tons of sanding, so I decided to decopauge a coordinating strip of craft paper along the edges to hide the flaws and give it a bit of flair.  I think it came out really cute and Natalie loves it.  Now to find another for my son.  :)
